Progress
Celebrate the person who keeps moving forward, even when the next step is small.
Some of the strongest people rarely stop long enough to hear that anyone notices. They take care of families, show up for friends, carry responsibilities, push through difficult seasons and continue giving even when their own plate is already full.
Recognition often arrives after a milestone, a crisis or a public achievement. But many of the people doing the most meaningful work are not chasing applause. They are making dinner after a long shift, caring for children or relatives, checking on friends, carrying bills and responsibilities, showing up to work, rebuilding after difficult seasons and finding a way to keep everyone else moving.
We wanted to create a reason to stop and say something while it can still be felt: I see you. I appreciate you. I’m proud of you.
For us, “proud of you” is about the effort behind the outcome: the quiet decisions, care, resilience and consistency that can disappear into everyday life.
Celebrate the person who keeps moving forward, even when the next step is small.
Notice the work that happens before anyone sees the result.
Honor the way somebody keeps showing up through hard seasons.
Recognize the love, responsibility and emotional labor they give to other people.
The project began with a strong focus on moms and caregivers because they are often expected to keep everything moving while their own needs stay at the bottom of the list. The bigger idea is simple: meaningful effort deserves meaningful recognition.
Tell us who you are proud of and the real story behind that feeling.
Our team reads nominations with care. A nomination is never automatically made public.
Approved honorees may receive a Proud of You Pack designed to give something back to them.
With explicit permission, selected stories can remind other people that their effort matters too.
A Proud of You Pack is not meant to feel like a promotional gift box. It is built around what might genuinely help an honoree feel cared for: something that takes weight off their plate, gives them room to breathe, creates joy, or leaves them with a lasting reminder that they are seen.
Nominations, the Proud of You Wall, honoree stories, participating businesses and everyday people sharing encouraging words all serve the same purpose: making appreciation easier to express and harder to postpone.
Visit the Proud of You Wall →As the project grows, the goal is to recognize more people, build stronger Proud of You Packs, create meaningful community partnerships and turn encouragement into something people can actually feel in their everyday lives.
Explore Stories & Resources →The Proud of You Project is connected to the larger mission behind The VYBES Collective: spread positive VYBES and remind people they are never alone. The project grew from the same idea at the heart of the song “Proud of You” — sometimes people simply need to hear that what they do matters.
